Design a Lamp

For more precise movements, use the two arrows located on the interface. Click the up arrow to move the lamp shade up and the down arrow to move it down.

• Hold the left mouse button to move the camera around the lamp.
• Right-click and hold to pan the camera up, down, left, or right.

Click on the box with the curved arrow to rotate the lamp 90 degrees.

If you want to start over, click the "Reset All" button to revert the lamp shade back to its default settings.

Made a mistake? Click the curved arrow "Undo" button to undo the last change you made.

For those sensitive to white backgrounds, click the "Dark Mode" button to switch to a black background.

Click the "View in AR" button to preview your lamp shade in Augmented Reality.

Switch to numeric mode by clicking the "Numeric Mode" button, which changes the sliders to digits for more precise adjustments.

Click the "Show Info" button to display the lamp shade's dimensions in centimeters.

User Interaction

Interacting with the app is simple and user-friendly. Click on the model at the top drop-down menu to change your selection to your desired model tyope. This intuitive interface ensures you can easily switch between different options and customize your designs.

Lamp Shade Options

Our app offers five distinct lamp shade options for you to choose from:

• Table Lamp: Perfect for bedside or desk use, providing focused lighting.
• Pending Lamp Shade: A versatile option for various settings.
• Pending Lamp Shade XL: Ideal for larger spaces requiring more light.
• Bubbles: A playful and artistic option.
• Stackable: Allows for customizable height and design.

Vase Options

We have two elegant vase options:

• Vase: A classic design suitable for any decor.
• Small Vase: A compact version for smaller arrangements.

Stool Option

• Pablo Stool: A stylish and functional seating option that complements any room.

Miscellaneous Option

• Sketch: This feature allows you to create custom sketches, adding a personal touch to your designs.

1. Find the Color Selection Menu: In the primary interface, identify the drop-down menu positioned beneath the model selection menu.
2. Choose Your Color: Click on the drop-down menu to reveal five color options. Select the one that best fits your style.

Step 1: Access the Shape Tool

• Open the Lamp Shade Editor app.
• Navigate to the Shape Tool option in the toolbar.

Step 2: Adjust the Shape

• Move the Circle: Click and drag the circle to change the shape of your lamp shade.
• Adjust Dimensions: For some models, you can change the width and height.
• Round the Edges: Use the options to round the top or bottom edges of the lamp shade.

Misc: Draw the Shape

• In the Sketch section, you can draw the shape of your lamp shade by dragging the circles.

Step 1: Access the Surface Tool

• Navigate to the Surface Tool in the toolbar.

Step 2: Modify the Surface

• Change the Modifier: Select the modifier to give your lamp shade a wavy pattern or a woven look.
• Adjust the Slider: Use the slider to adjust the size and quantity of the ripples.

Step 1: Access the Advanced Editor

• Navigate to the Advanced Editor in the toolbar.

Step 2: Customize the Shape

• Change the Shape: Select from circle, polygon, oval, or custom shapes.
• Move the Circles: For custom shapes, click and drag the circles to adjust the shape.
• Adjust the Position: Use the slider to move the shape up or down the lamp.

Step 1: Accessing the Overhang Tool

1. Open the Lamp Shade Editor application.
2. Navigate to the toolbar on the left side of the screen.
3. Look for Config.

Step 2: Adjusting the Overhang

1. Once the Config is selected, your lamp shade will display sliders for the overhang.
2. Click and drag the sliders to increase or decrease the size of the overhang.

Click the "Copy URL" button to copy the URL link for your lamp shade. This is useful for sharing your design with others.

Click the "Export STL" button to export and save your lamp shade design as an STL file.
